Products and processing

Tubes are available in the widest possible range of specifications, types and sizes which conform to both current and former build programmes. By processing tubes to customers' exact size and finish requirements we can reduce waste, lower cost and provide exactly what is required, when and in the right quantities.

Full size tube

Tubes up to 6 m (20 ft) in length are stocked and a variety of sizes are held, the majority are 3 m (10 ft) long.

Tube cutting

Precision tube cutting saws and a dedicated team of people provide the following capabilities:

• Semi-automatic saws with deburring capability to maximise productivity
• Precision cutting to ± 0.50 mm (0.020 in) 
• Aluminium, steel and titanium are processed to provide a complete service 
• Each item marked to ensure full lot traceability 
• Tubes are washed on fully automated machines to remove grease (see picture opposite)

Packing

To complete the comprehensive service, tubes can be automatically heat sealed in plastic bags or placed in returnable kanban boxes, for ease of handling and to ensure full traceability is maintained.
