ThyssenKrupp Aerospace partners with Bombardier

Quebec, Canada. Bombardier Aerospace and ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, announced today the award of an additional statement of work for processing complex aluminum shapes.  Work will be performed at the existing ThyssenKrupp Aerospace facility in Saint Anne de Bellevue in Quebec, Canada. 

Jurgen Funke, President of ThyssenKrupp Aerospace North America, noted, “We are pleased with the excellent performance of our Canadian employees and are proud that Bombardier continues to expand our relationship in accordance with the vision of their integrated supply chain project.” 

Commenting on the new initiative with ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, Janice L. Davis, Bombardier Aerospace Supply Chain Vice President, quoted: "We are delighted that the Quebec Aerospace Industry will benefit from this award. ThyssenKrupp Aerospace has been a valuable contributor to the success of our Integrated Supply Chain project and we look forward to continue developing this relationship in the future."

Bombardier Aerospace is a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative aviation products and services for the business, regional and amphibious aircraft markets. This legacy of innovation has developed 18 successful new aircraft programs since 1989.  The Bombardier Aerospace manufacturing facility in Montreal is the hub of component manufacturing for various aircraft models, including Bombardier 415, Bombardier Challenger 604, Challenger 800, and Global Express aircraft.

ThyssenKrupp Aerospace is part of the ThyssenKrupp Services Segment, providing materials, logistics and industrial services with more than 800 locations in 50 countries. Having identified the aerospace market as a strategic priority and in order to integrate their recent acquisitions of Apollo Metals, ThyssenKrupp Aerospace was formed earlier this year. The new group will focus on delivering supply chain solutions to the aerospace market utilizing their unrivalled experience and global capabilities of 30 locations in 13 countries
