Happy birthday! – thyssenkrupp Autômata celebrates 20 years

thyssenkrupp Autômata in Brazil celebrate their company’s 20th birthday this year. Founded on January 22nd, 1993 the company then simply named “Autômata” started working in CNC programming. In 1996, it bought its first own CNC equipment and by 1998 produced the first aerospace supplies ordered by manufacturer Embraer. 2005 saw the joint venture with thyssenkrupp as well as the move to the new and current location in Taubaté.

thyssenkrupp Autômata today has a total of 103 employees, who deliver a good 6,000 milled and 4,500 pre-assembled pieces per month. 

Looking ahead, the anniversary year started on a good footing as well: In January, 2013’s first purchase order for 20 tons of raw material was received. An additional 30 new machined part numbers were awarded from customer Embraer for its E-Jets family improvements.
